Good value on bundle

I needed a gluten-free dining card and a vegan translation card for my trip. I looked around for the best deal and Equal Eats had a bundle discount that made sense. The overall price was fair for two cards, especially with the professional translation. It felt like a good investment for peace of mind, plus it shipped quicker than I expected.

Helped with tricky allergy

I bought a custom card for my alpha-gal syndrome. Ordering was straightforward, though I did have a quick question about specific wording, which customer support answered in an email within a few hours. The digital card arrived almost instantly, and I also opted for the plastic version which took about a week to arrive. The translation seemed very thorough and specific, which is important for such a rare allergy. Using it at a restaurant last week really helped explain things clearly to the chef. It's a solid product.

Always reliable for travel

I ordered a custom food allergy translation card again for my upcoming trip to Japan. This was my third time using Equal Eats, and like before, the process was smooth. The card arrived in about 6 days, just like my last order. Good to know I can count on them for my dairy and nut allergies.

Hey, thinking about getting a few cards for my trip to Italy. How long does shipping usually take to New York?

R Ryan Doyle 1 month ago
mine got to florida in about a week, so new york should be similar i think. they ship pretty quick.

Yeah, I ordered a plastic card for my son before our Mexico trip, and it took maybe 5-7 business days to get to me in California. They sent a tracking number too.

Are these cards actually legit? Like, will a restaurant in France or Germany understand them, or are they just Google Translate stuff?

K Kevin Silva 2 months ago
Nah, they're not Google Translate. The site says they use professional translators and native speakers. I used one in Spain and had no problems.

Totally legit. My dairy allergy card for Japan was perfectly understood. The chefs even came out to confirm a few things, so it definitely works.

Are there any discounts available? Looking to get a few for my family before our summer vacation.

Sign up for their newsletter, you usually get a first-order discount. Also, check for bundle deals if you're buying multiple.

They often have multi-card savings that pop up automatically if you add a few to your cart. I saved about 15% getting three different ones.

How do returns work if I accidentally order the wrong language or something?

P Paula K. 3 months ago
I haven't returned one myself, but I think for custom things it might be trickier. Maybe check their refund policy on the site?

Generally, for custom items like these, returns might be limited unless there was an error on their part. I'd definitely double-check their specific policy on the website before ordering to be safe.

Is it worth getting these over just using something like Allergy Translation Cards or Legal Nomads?

M Mike Hughes 2 months ago
I've used Equal Eats and a friend used SelectWisely. Equal Eats felt more professional and had more options for specific conditions.

From what I've seen, Equal Eats offers more specific conditions and languages. Legal Nomads is good but Equal Eats seems to specialize more in the medical side of things. Plus, the customization is a big plus here.
